The Maldives Association of Human Resources Professionals (MAHRP) opened nominations for the MAHRP HR Excellence Award 2023. The cabinet secretary of the president’s office, Mr. Ahmed Hussain Didi, officially inaugurated this award at a ceremony hosted by MAHRP to commemorate National HR Day on February 24, 2023.
HR Excellence Awards 2023, by MAHRP, are designed to appreciate, recognise, and encourage the contribution of HR professionals. Our key goal for introducing such an award is to appreciate and reward human resource professionals at two different levels and create a national-level award that is prestigious and accepted at its highest. Our aim is to recognise their achievements, inspire younger generations to pursue career opportunities in human resource development, and encourage organisations and nations to value the importance of human resources in their success.
Individual categories are represented by three awards: Outstanding HR Leader of the Year, Emerging HR Leaders, and HR Excellence in Women Leadership. Individual awards are intended to praise and recognise the achievements of individual professionals in the people management field.
There are seven awards assigned to the Organisational category. The objective of these seven awards is to recognise organisations and institutions for their continuous commitment to people’s development. Companies strive diligently to find new strategies to motivate employees to contribute to the company’s success. The seven organizational category award includes, Excellence in HR Innovation, in Workplace Culture, Excellence in Talent Development, Excellence in Employee Wellness & Well-being, Excellence in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Excellence in HR Tech, Most People Focused Leader.
Nominations can be submitted the application through MAHRP website. The deadline for nomination is on 15th December 2023. The prestigious MAHRP HR Excellence award will be presented on National HR Day 2024 Gala on 24th February 2024.
