Having held a variety of senior sales and general management roles in the IT and Financial Services industries Schofield established Extensor in 2003 as a training company with a difference. Where most training companies focus on courses, Extensor focuses on results and offers a money-back guarantee to back it up.
As the result of a personal interest in neuroscience, Schofield co-founded MyBrain International in 2007 with Gill McKay. Where most psychometric tools and models argue that people’s profiles are static, contemporary neuroscientific research suggests the opposite. The research conducted by Schofield and McKay into the variability of people’s thoughts and preferences led to the development of the MiND tool, the world’s first ‘neurometric’. MyBrain International was later established as a vehicle for supplying the MiND tool and for training Practitioners in its use.
